The nonprofit organization, Community Celebrating Diversity, is seeking nominations for Diversity Champions -- individuals who exemplify the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and who have enriched the community by empowering others. Eligible nominees must work, live or volunteer in Scottsdale.

To recognize individuals who live, work or volunteer in the Scottsdale community and who have made outstanding contributions to advance civil and human rights and advocated for justice and understanding.

Diversity Champions will be recognized on Thursday, January 25th, 2025, when Community Celebrating Diversity hosts the annual Martin Luther King Jr. "Living the Dream" Celebration. The event will be held at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and registration begins at 5:30 PM.

Criteria: The Diversity Champion Award recipient will be a person who has greatly impacted Scottsdale by empowering others. In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., he or she will have lived, worked or volunteered in the community to bring diverse groups together and to promote civil and human rights in the pursuit of justice for all.
