    This application is to be filled out by the applicant.

  • *A note about your application: If you close your application before you submission or your computer freezes on you, the application will save your entries as long as you use the same computer and web browser.  Your information will be stored for up to 4 weeks.  Upon submission of your application, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps.

  • List the principle activities (sports, music organizations, clubs, community service, employment, etc.) in which you have participated over the last four years.  List them in order of importance to you.  Those who have spent time in college may also list college activities.

  • Please provide the names, relation, and email address of each reference you will be providing.  To complete the references, you may choose from a coach, college professor, employer, high school teacher, mentor/or youth pastor (no repeats).  Once we have received your application, we will send them a reference form electronically.  Input from your parent(s) is also expected.  Upon receiving your application, your parents will be sent a link to complete the parent's questionnaire.

  • We are eager to get to know you! Your responses provide an opportunity for us to catch a glimpse of who you are and why you're interested in pursuing Vanguard.  Please compose your essay in a Word or Google doc and upload them to your application below. They are evaluated on the basis of content and creativity - please make sure they are about 250 words and double spaced.

  • Please read Wheaton’s Community Covenant found here: Wheaton College Community Covenant. In applying for membership in this community, you should therefore weigh carefully whether these convictions, aspirations and commitments match your own, and whether you can gladly join in fulfilling the covenant’s responsibilities.

  • APPLICATION AND PAYMENT
    To apply to Vanguard Year, a $50 non-refundable deposit payment must be recorded in our system.

    Checks can be made out to HoneyRock with Vanguard application in the memo line and mailed to:

    Cancellation Policy (Deposit = $50)
    Once you have received email or written confirmation of application submission, your $50 application fee/deposit is non-refundable.
