Our House youth programs are specifically targeted to serve children in homeless or near homeless families. The staff at Our House has worked diligently to implement a tennis program into their current offerings. Each age group will play tennis once a month (Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm or 5:00 to 6:00pm) on a paved blacktop at Our House. We are looking for volunteers who can assist Our House staff with tennis activities, games, and instruction. We ask that volunteers be able to attend at least three sessions.  

Volunteers are required to submit an online application through Our House and attend an orientation at Our House before being eligible. During the orientation, a background screening will also be conducted. Volunteers should expect to complete the orientation and background screening 1-2 weeks before their first volunteer date.  After completion of this page, you will be directed to the Our House Volunteer Application.

If you volunteered last year and have already gone through this process, you will not have to do it again.

In each offering, the first 2 dates are held on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm and the 3rd date is always on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm. 

1st Date: K-2nd Grade (4:30-5:30)

2nd Date: 3rd- 5th Grade (4:30-5:30)

3rd Date: 6th-12th Grade (5:00-6:00)
