We are in need of volunteers to help with our 4th Annual #BulFest on September 30th, 2023! Any and all assistance will be sincerely appreciated, and we encourage you to sign-up to volunteer, if only for a brief period of time, as all participation will meaningfully contribute to the success of the Festival. We hope that you will support our 4th Annual #BulFest, as well as its growth in future years, and ensure the preservation of our Bulgarian culture and the preservation of our historic "Holy Trinity" Bulgarian Church for generations to come!

Volunteer to help prepare the following grilled foods (prior to and/or during Festival): kyufteta, kebapcheta, and karnacheta.

Volunteer to help prepare different Bulgarian salads (prior to and/or during Festival).

Volunteer to do face painting for the children! We need 2 volunteers per hour throughout the day. We will provide kits that include stencils for face painting images/designs, so prior experience is not necessary. Volunteers should not worry about perfection, as the goal is simply to have fun!

Volunteer to act as game attendants! We will have several classic carnival games, andvolunteers will take tickets/check wristbands, monitor/run the games, and distribute prizes.

Volunteer to monitor kids as they enjoy the inflatable! We need 2 volunteers per hour, which is required by the contract with the inflatable rental company. Attendants will take tickets/check wristbands and ensure compliance with the rules (e.g., monitoring how many kids are playing at a time, how long before their turn is over, etc.).

Volunteer to work at the Pazar (Marketplace)! We will have various Bulgarian souvenirs available and will need at least 1 volunteer per hour to answer questions about the items and process sales.

Volunteer to make and sell popcorn and cotton candy! We need 2 volunteers per hour.

Volunteer to sell beverages. We need at least 2 volunteers per hour, and at least 1 volunteer must be at least 21 years old, in order to sell alcoholic drinks (beer and wine).

Volunteer to sell tickets and wristbands for the inflatable and games! Festival attendees will be able to either purchase individual tickets, or they can purchase wristbands for unlimited play. We will need at least one volunteer per hour to handle these sales.
