This is only an application to form part of the entertainment at the Kalahari Desert Festival. If your application and quotation are accepted, we will contact you through e-mail.
- KDF is not responsible for transport, accommodation, s&t, or any other related costs.
- A quotation should include all costs.
- Artists will also be treated like festivalgoers. Artists are not allowed into the VIP-section.
- The KDF is not involved with any arrangements made by the artists. Accepted artists are responsible for their own preparations.
- The KDF will only consider existing artists/groups/items/productions. No applicant without prior performance history will be considered.
Quotations: (guidelines)
- Your quotations should include all costs.
- Payments: the KDF provides the artist(s) with a 50% deposit 4-weeks prior to the festival. The balance of 50% is only paid within one to two working days after the festival. No exceptions.
- Applications are processed on the grounds of popularity, costs, culture and space within the programme.
- If your application is rejected, the KDF is in no way responsible to provide reasons.
- The closing date for applications is 10 January 2024 at 12:00. No late applications will be accepted.

Hierdie is slegs 'n aansoek om deel te vorm van die vermaak by die Kalahari Woestynfees. Indien u aansoek en kwotasie aanvaar word, sal ons u per e-pos kontak.
- KDF is nie verantwoordelik vir vervoer, verblyf, s&t, of enige ander verwante koste nie.
- 'n Kwotasie moet alle kostes insluit.
- Kunstenaars sal ook soos feesgangers behandel word. Kunstenaars word nie in die BBP-afdeling toegelaat nie.
- Die KDF is nie betrokke by enige reëlings wat deur die kunstenaars getref word nie. Aanvaarde kunstenaars is verantwoordelik vir hul eie voorbereidings.
- Die KDF sal slegs bestaande kunstenaars/groepe/items/produksies oorweeg. Geen aansoeker sonder vorige prestasiegeskiedenis sal oorweeg word nie.
Kwotasies: (riglyne)
- Jou kwotasie moet alle kostes insluit.
- Betalings: die KDF voorsien die kunstenaar(s) van 'n 50% deposito 4 weke voor die fees. Die balans van 50% word een tot twee werksdae na die fees uitbetaal. Geen uitsonderings.
- Aansoeke word verwerk op grond van gewildheid, koste, kultuur en ruimte binne die program.
- Indien u aansoek afgekeur word, is die KDF geensins verantwoordelik om redes te verskaf nie.
- Die sluitingsdatum vir aansoeke is 10 Januarie 2024 om 12:00. Geen laat aansoeke sal aanvaar word nie.
