THE EVENT:
Simply guess the correct number of 2018 Emmy nominations that Bitter Jester Studios may - or may not - receive and you could win a chance for you and a guest to join us at the The 60th Annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards on Nov. 10, 2018! The red carpet event will take place at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL.
WINNER RECEIVES:
A) Two (2) tickets to the red carpet Emmy Dinner & Award Ceremony in Chicago;
B) Exclusive access to the private (but laid back) pre-party at the Bitter Jester Studios (BJS) Intergalactic Headquarters in Highland Park, IL;
C) A limousine ride to & from the red carpet with the Bitter Jester team! The limo departs from/returns to BJS headquarters but special return considerations may be possible.
HOW TO WIN:
Each year, BJS submits select projects for Emmy consideration. This year's nominees will be announced live on Mon, Sept. 24. Simply guess the correct number of Emmy nominations BJS will receive this year and your name will be entered into our drawing! Make your best guess in the short questionnaire that follows, click submit, and you're done. The winner will be selected randomly from among the entrants who guessed correctly.
OFFICIAL RULES:
1) In order to be eligible, you must guess the correct number of Chicago/Midwest Emmy nominations (0-19) that Bitter Jester Studios will receive this year.
2) You do not need to guess the correct categories/productions, merely take a stab at the total number of nominations. Links to the films are available in this questionnaire so that you can make an educated guess, but you are not required to do anything other than randomly pick a number.
3) If more than one person guesses correctly, all eligible names will be placed in a Jonathan Mason Jar and a single winner will be chosen by BJS at random. A runner-up is also selected in case the winner cannot attend.
4) Only one guess per person is allowed, though both members of a couple/multiple family members are encouraged to play.
5) If you guess “zero nominations” and are correct, you and a guest will be treated to a Denny's Grand Slam with the Bitter Jesters. You must dress in your fanciest attire and we will all be referring to it as “The Demmys.” We'll bring our own red carpet!*
6) This prize covers the cost of two tickets and a limo ride to the Emmy Dinner & Ceremony in Chicago on Sat, Dec. 2, 2017. You and your guest must either live in the Chicagoland area or be willing to travel & lodge in Chicago at your own expense. Limo departs from and returns back to BJS in Highland Park, IL.
7) The ceremony is “black tie requested.” Most people wear tuxedos and/or ball gowns. We encourage you to come dressed to the nines!
8) Emmy nominees will be announced on 09/24/18 at a Hubbard Inn, 110 W. Hubbard in Chicago (Joe Donlon & Dean Richards from WGN will host!). Tickets are $15 at the door - the party starts @ 6pm and is a ton of fun!
9) The BJS Red Carpet Contest winner will announced on Facebook via Video Announcement about a week after the Nominations Party.
10) Contest closes @ 6pm CST on Mon, Sept. 24. The timestamp on your submission will be the official time of entry.
*Demmys carpet may not be red.
