In partnership with our alumni, board, private foundations, and individual donors, we are proud of our ability to provide financial assistance to camp families. We profoundly believe in the power of Jewish Camp and are committed to making camp work for your family.
We do our best to meet your family's individual needs, but please understand that our pool for financial assistance is limited. Should you be a member, we encourage you to contact your local congregation, as well as your local Jewsh community. Many local Federations also offer assistance for summer camp and Israel experiences.
We take the security of your personal information seriously. This form is a secure, as is the document submission process. Our committe, which is comprised of alumni and board members, has committed to reviewing applications in the strictest of confidences.
In addition to this application, your family must submit a signed copy of your Federal Income Tax Returns for 2017 and 2018, as well as any and all W-2 forms for both 2017 and 2018. These forms can be securely submitted electronically at the end of this application or via a seperate secure document uploader. Forms should not be emailed.
When will I receive a decision? First round applications are due on Friday, December 3, 2018. We strongly advise you to complete your application by the deadline. Our committee will be meeting shortly after the application deadline and you will have a decision back by early January, 2019. At that point, your family can:
Accept the finanical aid award and setup a payment plan to pay off the balance due by April 1, 2019.
Accept the financial aid award and pay your balance in full by April 1, 2019.
Reject the initial financial aid award and submit a review request to go back to the committee as the inital award does not meet your needs.
We are committed to working with you as your family moves through the financial aid process. Please do not hesitate to contact Alex Pomerantz, Assistant Director of Operations, with any questions or concerns.
