Spirit of Philanthropy Award (Group)
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is an international association that strives to stimulate a world of generosity and positive social good through fundraising best practices. For 50 years, AFP has been the leader for professionalism in fundraising, representing over 30,000 members, in over 203 chapters throughout the world, who work to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. In honour of National Philanthropy Day® on November 15, AFP Newfoundland and Labrador will host the annual Spirit of Philanthropy Awards to celebrate the great contributions of philanthropy in the Province and to those who go above and beyond to make an impact through generosity and volunteerism.

Honouring a special-purpose philanthropic group who has exhibited outstanding commitment to philanthropy and community involvement. This is demonstrated through financial support, generous contributions of time, encouragement, and motivation of others to follow their lead.
