Congratulations on being selected for the position of Relief Youth Worker at the Washtenaw County Children’s Services Department, located at 4125 Washtenaw Ave. This letter serves as the official offer for the position, contingent upon:
- Law Enforcement Information Network clearance
- Children’s Protective Services Central Registry clearance
- Completion of a pre-placement physical and PPD (TB Test)
- Provision of three letters of reference, academic transcripts, and copy of resume.
The hiring terms are outlined below:
The starting wage is $15.50 per hour. Your start date is July 6, 2021 and begins with a six month probationary period, concluding on January 6, 2021. The regular work week is Sunday through Saturday and the day begins and ends at various times depending on the shift.
New hire orientation is required prior to working. Please report in for new hire orientation on the morning of July 6th at 8:30am. Orientation will be held at the Children's Services Building (4125 Washtenaw Ave. Ann Arbor, MI.
You will asked to take a picture for your County ID badge, and issued PC and email login information shortly after orientation. Supervisor Barnwell will begin the departmental orientation after you have completed the County Wide Organizational Orientation.
