The Rhapsodist editors seek submissions of original art, poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, and dramatic dialogue. Please read these guidelines carefully. Submissions failing to follow guidelines will not be considered. Please fill out all required fields; a new form must be completed for each new submission.
There are no firm rules or limits on length; however, work published in the journal typically follows these parameters: Poetry: usually no more than two (2) pages or 400 words. Short Fiction/Creative Nonfiction/Dramatic Dialogue: Usually no more than ten (10) pages, double spaced 12pt. Times New Roman font or 3,000 words. Submission Process: All submissions must be sent via this form with a valid A-B Tech email account. Please note the editors will communicate the status of submissions as early as possible. They will not, however, reply to any unsolicited questions. Do not include your name anywhere in the uploaded document. All submissions must be submitted in an accessible electronic format (preferably .doc, .docx, .rtf). You can submit one written work OR one image per completed form. For additional submissions, please fill out an additional form. Please note: publication in The Rhapsodist is competitive; therefore, not all submitted work will be published.

Consent for Publication
If selected for publication, I give my consent for my written contribution and/or artwork to be published in The Rhapsodist. I have seen and read the material to be published. I understand the following: The Rhapsodist is freely available on the web. Hence, anyone anywhere in the world can read material published. Readers include executives, managers, and business people but also journalists and other members of the public. My name and brief profile will be published and, therefore, I will be recognizable. I retain the copyright to my material. I am not required to seek permission to re-use my own work. As an author, I can use my contribution in part or in full, (except where copyright is owned by a third party, in which case I must seek permission again) if I want to do so in another book, in another article written for another publisher, on a web site, or any other use, without the need to obtain prior permission. I warrant that the work does not contain any unlawful statements and does not infringe any existing copyright. I also warrant that I have obtained the necessary permission from the copyright holder(s) to reproduce in the article, in all media, in all countries and transmit via all reputable third parties, any materials not owned by me. Please note the staff reserve the right to edit your work to correct issues with grammar and syntax (but not content).
