Rhonda Britton Bio
Rhonda Britton is from Huntsville and lives in Hazel Green, Alabama. She works for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES). She has installed and designed over 10 rain catchment systems with a holding capacity of 1000 to 5000 gallon systems throughout the state to help train extension agents and demonstrate the uses of rain water. She is the former coordinator for Water Wheels, an outdoor water conservation mobile lab. She changed positions with ACES in November, 2016 and is now the Regional Extension Agent for Home Grounds in Madison, Morgan, and Jackson counties.
Rhonda received her B.S. degree in Horticulture and M.S. in Plant Science from Alabama A&M University. She is currently working on her PhD from Auburn University in Agronomy. Prior to working with ACES, she was marketing representative for Nutri-Turf, Inc. and farm manager for Charles Williams sod farm.
She is married to Daryl Britton and has two boys, Bradley who is 20 and Landon who is 18.
