  • PSIA-AASI DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD NOMINATION FORM

    This award recognizes those who’ve made important contributions that have added to the success of PSIA-AASI. These candidates have displayed long-term commitment and dedication by providing educational programing support, or by contributing to group and/or Team efforts that involve important national initiatives. Other examples of distinguished service may include demonstrating positive leadership skills, fostering connections with and between members, or having a willingness to mentor peers – both young and experienced. Members and non-members,including staff, vendors and industry partners, are eligible to receive this award.
  • INSTRUCTIONS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

    An attached letter of recommendation signed by the “Sponsor” must accompany the nomination as well as any other supporting documents. Please note the date this form was prepared.
  • NOMINATING PROCESS

    PSIA-AASI Board of Directors,Committees, Regional Boards, or PSIA-AASI members in good standing can nominate a candidate. Nominations are due November 31, prior to a proceeding board meeting for review and consideration. The PSIA-AASI Board of Directors’ Awards and Recognition Committee reviews and approves the nomination for submittal to the PSIA-AASI Board.
  • LETTER/LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

    Nominations must include the sponsor’s letter of recommendation. All letters of recommendation should be specific about the nominee’s accomplishments and provide information about the nominee that will assist in the nomination evaluation. Additional letters of recommendation and/or supporting materials are welcomed by the review committee and bolster the nomination. When signing the nomination form and the letter/letters of recommendation, the sponsor certifies that he or she can vouch for the soundness of the nomination. The Awards and Recognition Committee affirms that its Committee members, who have verified the eligibility of the nominee in accordance with the award criteria, have scrutinized the nomination. The PSIA-AASI Board of Directors will make final selection and approval.
  • PRESENTATION PROCESS

    The Distinguished Service Award is presented at an appropriate national-level social function, and recipients are highlighted in an issue of 32 Degrees. A large plaque is housed in the National Office and will list names of recipients. Recipients will receive smaller individual awards.
