EconoFil PLA Recall
Dear customers of the EconoFil PLA 3D printer filament line. Please be advised that we have recently found a defect in the latest batch of EconoFil PLA (Batch#: BI06CA). If you have purchased EconoFil PLA, either the spooled or refill option, between August 24th 2018 and September 20th 2018, your product MAY be affected. After a through root cause analysis we have concluded that the issue is with the raw material/pellets supplier. Although our manufacturing procedures were followed correctly, some of the raw material used was defective which caused some filament to be extremely brittle and sometimes stringy. As a result, we have completely stopped selling this batch of PLA on our website. We ask that IF you experienced a brittleness and/or excessive stringiness issue with your latest purchase, please let us know by filling in the form below so we may work on a resolution to your order. To ensure this issue does not repeat, please note that we have replaced our current raw material with a new supplier providing a new and much stronger grade of PLA. We expect to restock EconoFil PLA with this new batch on or around November 2018. We apologize for any issues this may have caused and are looking forward to offering a much better and consistent product going forward. Thank you for your understanding.
