  • Full Service Visit:

    Includes PSR mandated records review and a comprehensive on farm walk around to observe on farm activities of covered produce.

    Limited Visit:

    Includes PSR mandated records review and at least two of the following subparts of the produce safety rule:

     

    Subpart C: Personnel Qualifications & Training        

    Subpart D: Health and Hygiene                                 

    Subpart E: Agricultural Water*                                           

    Subpart F: Biological Soil Amendment of Animal Origin

    Subpart I: Domestic and Wild Animals        

    Subpart K: Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding Activities

    Subpart L: Equipment, Tools, Building, and Sanitation

    Subpart M: Sprouts (as appropriate)

    Subpart O: Records

    * Subpart is currently under review with FDA and not subject to inspection

  • Please Note:

    • No On Farm Consultation visit shall be conducted without a written request.
    • On Farm Consultation visits are voluntary.
    • On Farm consultation visits will generally not incur enforcement activities, so long as the grower agrees to correct conditions identified as needing improvement (NI).
    • Should the grower fail to address any or non-compliant issues or conditions, information from the visit may be forwarded to the Program Director for possible enforcement actions.
