ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION.

REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. AS A LITTLE DRIBBLERS' BASKETBALL, INC. (LDB)MEMBER LEAGUE, YOUR LEAGUE:
- ESTABLISHES YOUR LEAGUE BOUNDARY(SCHOOL DISTRICT BOUNDARY) WHICH IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO YOUR LITTLE DRIBBLER LEAGUE. WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANOTHER LDB LOCAL LEAGUE TO BE ESTABLISHED IN YOUR BOUNDARY AREA. OTHER LOCAL LEAGUES MAY NOT RECRUIT PLAYERS FROM YOUR LEAGUE BOUNDARY AREA TO PLAY IN THEIR LEAGUE.
- YOUR LEAGUE HAS ACCESS TO THE LDB MEDICAL AND LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY THAT HAS BEEN NEGOTIATED THROUGH WILSON SPORTS INSURANCE. ONLY REGISTERED LEAGUES MAY PURCHASE INSURANCE THROUGH THIS POLICY. LITTLE DRIBBLERS' BASKETBALL, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS NEGOTIATED THE BEST PRICE AVAILABLE FOR EXCESS MEDICAL COVERAGE AND LIABILITY COVERAGE.
- LEAGUES HAVE THE OPTION OF ENTERING A JUNIOR, MAJOR, AND SENIOR TEAM IN A REGIONAL TOURNAMENT. THE TOP TWO TEAMS FROM EACH BRACKET WILL ADVANCE TO THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. THERE IS NOT AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION.
- LEAGUES HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HOST REGIONAL AND NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THEIR LOCAL LEAGUE. ALL MONEY RAISED AT THE REGIONAL TOURNAMENT LEVEL, STAYS WITH THE HOST LEAGUE. LDB, INC. DOES NOT COLLECT A TOURNAMENT FEE FOR REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS.
- LEAGUES HAVE ACCESS TO CONTACT INFORMATION FOR OTHER LOCAL LEAGUES TO SET UP LEAGUE GAMES, WARM-UP, OR PRACTICE GAMES AND ADVERTISE THEIR TOURNAMENTS ON THE LDB WEBSITE.

LEAGUE INFORMATION
Little Dribbler Leagues are divided into three divisions based on the number of students enrolled in their high school. The chart below explains the enrollment breakdown for each division. Below is the UIL Alphabetical listing of Texas Schools with their UIL Division and High School enrollment.

Division Breakdown

CONTINENTAL DIVISION -1A, 2A schools. High School enrollment up to 229 students.

AMERICAN DIVISION- Large 3A and 4A schools. High School enrollment of 230-514 students.

NATIONAL DIVISION-5A and 6A schools. High School enrollment of more than 515 students.

Leagues are required to provide all players with Secondary Medical Coverage and Liability Coverage with at least the following coverage limits.

Wilson Sports Insurance Co., provides insurance coverage for Little Dribblers' Basketball registered leagues. You may purchase insurance during this registration process or may provide us with proof of insurance coverage. CONDITIONS:

In consideration of ability to participate in Little Dribblers’ Basketball, Inc. league and tournament play, I, as president or authorized league representative, understand and agree to the following:

Our league will abide by all Little Dribblers’ Basketball, Inc. Rules and Regulations;

Little Dribblers’ Basketball, Inc. leagues will not discriminate against anyone based on gender, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

All players on our tournament teams will live in or attend school within our league boundary area (local school district boundary area). I understand that allowing an ineligible player to participate on our tournament teams will result in forfeit and can, depending on the facts, result in the league being prohibited from future participation.

Player age is determined by August 1st of the tournament year. Player eligibility is determined strictly by date of birth. Waivers will not be given for players that are too old for their age division.

All coaches must submit to a Criminal Background Check to participate as a coach in any Little Dribblers’ Basketball, Inc. league and/ or tournament.

Leagues must provide medical and liability insurance coverage with coverage limits equal to or exceeding the limits provided by the insurance coverage provided by Wilson Sports Insurance Co.

Leagues will review and abide by the Little Dribbler’s Basketball, Inc. Child Sexual Abuse Policy and Procedures.

Leagues are responsible for the behavior and actions of their players, coaches and fans. Leagues are responsible any damages caused by their teams. Misbehavior and unsportsmanlike behavior can result in the league being prohibited from future participation in Little Dribblers’ Basketball, Inc.
