Coding is a 21st century learning skill that teaches innovation and creativity. The Dash and Dot robots are an engaging learning toy that students as young as Kindergarten can use to explore the basics of coding.
Over 80% of Magnolia's student population are FARMS students. These students may not have access to any kind of learning toy similar to the
robot. The students also continue to struggle with a growth mindset. The coding required to use the robots is scaffolded and will encourage
students to continue to try different ways and not give up.
