New membership dues are $20 during the membership blitz and $25 for the remainder of the year. Membership is from January to December. If dues are paid after August 31st, you will be extended membership for the following year.
The mission of the Appalachian Authors Guild is to support and promote literary art throughout the Appalachian region and to encourage writers, authors, and others associated with literary art to both preserve and build upon the literary histroy and heritage of the Appalachian region.

The Appalachian Authors Guild, a Chapter of the Virginia Writers Club,will accept application for membership from any author or writer who lives or has lived in the Appalachian region or is writing or has written about an Appalachian subject or is associated with literary art in the region.
Once you submit your application and pay your membership dues, you will receive a welcome email from the president.
