  • Share Your Story | Jesus For ALL People

Everyone has a story, and everyone’s story matters. It’s important to be able to tell your stories, but sometimes it can feel uncomfortable. Well actually, it almost always makes us a little uncomfortable – but that’s ok! Every person has a story, and any story that has to do with how God is speaking to you, shaping you, or changing you is a story worth telling. We’d love to hear about any lifechange, turning point, next step or remarkable experience that points to Jesus working in your life. We celebrate every story we receive, and we are always looking for opportunities to share stories in our events, resources and online.
  • UNSURE WHAT STORY TO TELL?
If you're not sure what you want to share, consider these questions:

What experience in your life either helped or challenged your spiritual journey?
Was there ever a time you doubted God, or a time when you wanted more of God in your life? What did you do, and how did God respond?
Was there a particular event or experience that gave you a deeper understanding of who God is, or a deeper sense of who he made you to be? Explain that journey.
Has there been a specific way that God has blessed you, or a difficult season that you experienced His faithfulness?
Maybe you just got back from serving someone in your community or in another country; what did you learn about yourself, and what did you learn about God through that experience?

    Pro Tips

Be conversational. Focus on expressing your thoughts and feelings, not on the words.
Be specific. Use concrete situations, details, and emotions. Help people visualize.
Be honest. Embrace the messiness. Don't exaggerate or sugarcoat.
Be real. You are a work in progress. So is what God is doing. Don’t feel the need to tie it up.
Be simple: Don’t clutter your story with details, tangents, backstories or people that aren’t really connected to your focus.

  • You may share your story if you're younger than 18, but we just need your parents' permission!
