    UC San Diego - Dept of Sociology

  • You may submit it up to three course petitions using this form. Petitions will be evaluated by our Undergraduate Program Director. 

    If you need to submit an additional letter of justification for your petition, please upload with/instead of the course syllabus.

    Please note, that in order to be approved, courses petitioned towards the DEI requirement must have equivalency with an existing UC San Diego course on the approved DEI course list.

    In addition to equivalency in course topic, it must also have equivalency in divisional level (lower or upper).
