2026-27 CSGS Fellowship Application

This application can be used to apply to any of the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality Fellowships:

CSGS Dissertation Fellowship

CSGS/CSRPC Joint Dissertation Completion Fellowship

CSGS Residential Fellowship

CSGS/CSRPC Joint Residential Fellowship

Please make sure you read through each one as the eligibility requirements and application materials are different. You can apply to multiple fellowships through this single application.
This application requires the following documents in addition to this form. You will be asked to upload the following materials in .pdf format:
1. Two-page curriculum vitae
2. Two-page statement of purpose/cover letter describing your work in relation to your general intellectual preparation, commitments, etc. (can be single- or double-spaced)
3. One- to five-page prospectus (description of your dissertation)
4. One chapter of your dissertation (only for dissertation fellowships)
5. Timeline for completion of dissertation (only for dissertation fellowships)
In addition, if you are applying for a dissertation fellowship you will need the name and email of your dissertation chair. They may be contacted for a recommendation.
