The Greensboro Police Citizens’ Academy is a 12-week program designed to give you greater insight into your police department. Each session will be informative and interactive. The program is set to begin on January 15, 2025 and will run through April 2, 2025 with sessions every Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm. All sessions are in-person with the majority held at Police Headquarters locate at 100 E Police Plaza Greensboro, NC 27401. A few sessions will include demonstrations that will be held at either our District 3 substation (300 S Swing Road) or at the Public Safety Training Facility (1510 N Church Street).
Applications must be completed by close of business (5pm) on Friday, November 8th. No applications will be accepted after this deadline.
As a condition of applying to the GPCA, you consent to a criminal background check. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
