Important Dates for Celebrating Research Week 2026
*the Poster Expo will be open to the public from 1:30-3:30; however, there is a VIP preview from 1-1:30 at which your presence is expected. Details will accompany acceptance letters.
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is NOT necessary that the research was conducted at Rochester.
- All current University of Rochester undergraduates can submit an application.
- All applications require submission of an abstract. Oral presentation applications also require a 2-page project description.
- Only one application per project. If submitting a co-presented project, please designate one student as communications liaison to complete the application. Add a "co-presenters: Full Name, major(s), and class year" line to the top of the abstract.
- If you are applying to present more than one poster you may choose to EITHER present each poster for one hour of the session OR you may present one poster in person and both posters virtually. We do NOT have the physical space to accommodate more than one poster stand per student at the Poster Expo.
- Upload project description in .pdf format ONLY
- Symposium presentation applications require a letter of support from the sponsoring faculty.
- Poster & Lightning Talk applications require sponsoring faculty approval. The appropriate request will be sent to the applicant's sponsoring faculty upon submission of the application.
- Lightning Talk applicants will be contacted separately after submitting this form with instructions for next steps.
