PLEASE NOTE: When choosing a photographer, it is important that your vision aligns with my style to ensure you ultimately receive the look that best meets your expectations. Please take a moment to read some important information below to confirm I am the perfect photographer for you and your family!    :)

My style is organic, simple and natural, with a bold and whimsical feel to them. I like to eliminate as much distraction as I can to keep as much of your story within the images as possible. I have an extensive collection of props and outfits and therefore, I will provide all items for your session (up to 1 year of age) and I do not photograph character themed sessions (such as Disney, Harry Potter, etc) due to copyright infringement. However, while everything needed for your session is provided, you are more then welcome to bring along a family heirloom to be incorporated in your session.

Lifestyle Newborn session lasts up to 3 hours, recommended within the first 7-21 days of birth, and is held in-studio or in your home.

The STUDIO LIFESTYLE NEWBORN session is more candid lifestyle images, focused to capture the love and connection between you and baby. This is held in our studio's gorgeous lifestyle room and includes individual poses of baby, details (hands, lips, eyelashes, toes), parent, sibling, and family images.

The IN-HOME LIFESTYLE NEWBORN session takes place in your home, instead of at the studio. Travel up to 20 miles from 48003 is included in the session fee, additional mileage fees may apply if beyond 20 miles.

Petite Wrapped Newborn sessions are a shortended "mini" version of the lifestyle session, lasting up to 90 minutes. This session is for baby only, and all poses of baby are wrapped.

All newborn sessions are scheduled around 10:00am to ensure baby is sleepy, at their best, and to avoid cluster feedings that can occur in the late afternoon. Newborn sessions are also scheduled during the week since a parent is often home with baby, so please be aware that requests for weekend dates most likely will not be available.

If you are unsure of baby's actual birth date, please request a date approximately 10 days out from your expected due date. This will only be a "tentative" date, so I do ask that you please be sure to let me know at your earliest convenience once baby is born, to ensure mom and baby are doing well. At that time we will then either confirm your session date or reschedule, if necessary.

Your baby is going to change so much in the first year, it is nearly impossible to recall every little detail. In only a matter of weeks after your baby is born, they won't even fit in your arms the way I will be posing them anymore. By the time you receive your online gallery, your newborn will have already changed. That is how unfairly fast the newborns stage goes by!

Just imagine, years down the road when you hold the images of your child in your hands, you are going to reminiscence on all of those tiny little details that had faded in your memory over time. These images are going to take you back to that incredible bond you felt as a new mother, remembering how soft their hair was, how the color of their eyes have changed, how chubby those squishy cheeks were, and how they had the most contagious smile. Recalling those adored details are priceless because they are an essential part of your story. From one day to the next, your baby's features will change, they will learn something new, and they will reach all of those precious milestones that you will be emotional and overjoyed to watch them achieve!  Don't miss out on the opportunity to capture those moments when your baby first started smiling at you, when they learned how to sit up on their own, or when they finally had the courage to take those first steps. You will never get those moments back, and they will soon be only a faded memory of the past.

For this reason, I offer a Baby's First Year Program that is specifically tailored to capture your baby's unique personality and are customized for each of the most important milestones during their first year of life.

Model Release Agreement

I hereby consent that the photographs taken and presented by this photographer may be used by J.Nicotri Photography LLC for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website or publication to promote herself and the studio. I also agree that the images can be used without additional compensation to the undersigned. I hereby release and discharge the photographer from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy. I am of full age and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents thereof. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.

I have read and agree to the terms above. I declare that I have legal authority to grant these permissions for all subjects involved in the photo session and accept all responsibilities for such.

* Your session fee is due in full at time of booking as a non-refundable retainer to hold your session date. The retainer may be applied towards another session, if reschedule is needed, per the terms of your contract.

* Digital images, wall art and products are purchased separately upon receipt of your gallery.

Posed and Lifestyle sessions require a minimum purchase of 20 digital images.

All images chosen for your online proofing gallery are chosen at my discretion, to ensure a variety within your gallery and to best reflect my brand and style.  Any images not chosen for your online gallery are trashed during the culling process.  Unedited RAW images will NOT be provided at any time.
