ASNA is seeking abstracts for oral presentations for the Virtual Elizabeth A. Morris Clinical Educational Sessions FACES' 22 April 19, 2022. The planning committee invites submissions from practicing nurses, educators, and students. We invite our nursing colleagues and students to share their expertise in one of the following categories:
- Innovations in Practice or Education
- Patient Safety
- Quality Improvement and Benchmarking Initiatives
- Case Studies
The presentation should be 30 minute or 1-hour session covering a single topic. Indicate the preferred time frame in the application.
Oral Presentation Peer Review Process
A panel of experts will review all abstract submissions for completeness and appropriateness for the clinical session. Detailed instructions for the presentation will be provided to the primary author at the time of the notification of abstract acceptance.
Submission Requirements
Abstracts must be submitted electronically. The abstract should be submitted with the title included and without author(s) names. Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words, in 12-point font and include up to 2 pages of bibliography. The content should be submitted in the form of a structured abstract.
Abstracts that do not follow the submission guidelines will not be reviewed. Abstracts previously presented in other arenas are acceptable for submission. ASNA would like to publish accepted abstracts in our newsletter during the year. You will be asked to give your permission when submitting your abstract.
