This form is for the specific purpose of reimbursement for tuition and fees at an institution of higher learning for students who graduated from high school or obtained a GED within EMCID boundaries or for students who lived inside the EMCID boundaries but graduated from a high school outside the boundaries.
This form should be used by students who are attending a school outside the Lone Star College System (such as UofH, SHSU, UT, etc.) and would like to receive their $1,600 scholarship by means of reimbursement of tuition and fees already paid. Receipts will be required.
Students who are attending classes within the Lone Star College System may receive this scholarship as a credit to tuition and fees owed by means of contacting the Lone Star College Financial Aid Office or Karen Vanover at Karen.Vanover@lonestar.edu.

Reimbursements will be mailed at quarterly intervals. Submissions received by:
August 31 will be mailed in *September.
November 30 will be mailed in *December.
February 28 will be mailed in *March.
May 31 will be mailed in *June.
*as long as the requested reimbursement falls after the institution's drop date for classes.
