    Please complete the form below to be considered as a speaker at the 2019 AACS Annual Convention in Las Vegas, NV.
  • The 2019 AACS Annual Convention & Expo will take place September 27-30, 2019 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. The theme of this year's event is "Power of One - Time to Engage". Our goal is to inform, inspire, and provide guidance on best practices for school owners and administrators.

    Do you have a success story you can share with AACS Members? Teach a session on changes that have yielded big results. Do you know other school leaders who are revolutionizing the industry? Host a Fish Bowl or Panel to discuss best practices.

    Based on prior attendee surveys, we are looking for proposals on the following sessions:

    • Best Practices
      o Dealing with Common Legal Issues
      o Diversity and Disabilities in Education
      o Adding New Programs & Scaling for Growth

    • Admissions, Retention & Placement
      o Digital Marketing Trends
      o From Tour to Enrollment
      o Career Fairs

    • Financial Aid
      o The Journey to Accreditation
      o Staying in Compliance
      o Alternative Revenue Streams

    • Technology
      o Cybersecurity in Higher Education
      o Updating Student Kits
      o Hybrid Programs

    These suggestions are only a starting point - we encourage you to submit class proposals that are new and innovative that deal with current challenges facing school owners. 


    In order to be considered as a speaker, we are requesting the following items be included as part of your proposal:

    1. Outline 3-5 takeaways at the beginning of the session that can be implemented by your audience immediately.
    2. Be able to provide a handout or digital version of your presentation or other notes/activities to participants.
    3. Description of your presentation summarized in 250 words to be used in marketing materials.
    4. High resolution color headshot photograph.
    5. Bio of 250 word max.

    Please note:

    • Suggestions above are not an indication of the final event schedule, and programming is subject to change at any time without notice
    • All proposals submitted will be reviewed by the AACS planning committee
    • AACS reserves the right to edit your bio, presentation title and description as needed
    • AACS reserves the right to adapt the format of a proposal to include other presenters or panelists in order to design a workshop that will attract a wider audience

     


     

    Timeline:

    • Call-out for Proposals: May 15 - June 14
    • Committee Review Complete: June 28
    • Speaker Confirmations: No later than July 5
