  • What is the fund's mandate?

    To provide financial support to CSU Clubs who wish to develop an event, project, or initiative not included in their approved annual budget.

    Who can apply?

    CSU student groups that are recognized as active by the Dean of Students Office. Applicant Clubs must have submitted their annual budget to the Clubs and Space Committee and received an allocation from them before requesting Special Clubs Funding.

     

    Additional guidelines:

    • The Project Description document should be used to detail your project and justify your funding request. Emphasis should be on the project's contributions to student life and its relation to your Club's mandate. 2 pages maximum.

    • The Project Budget must include all projected expenses, the total cost of the project, any expected revenues, as well as other funding sources you have applied to and the status of those applications (if applicable). Sample budgets can be found here. 

    Application Deadline:

    SCF applications for the Winter 2021 semester will open on January 13th and will close April 16th 2021.

    You will be notified by email following the Committee's decision. Please be sure to check your email (and Spam folder) regularly.

    Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please contact the CSU Clubs Administrator (clubs@csu.qc.ca) or the Internal Affairs Coordinator (internal@csu.qc.ca) should you have any questions regarding your application.
