    This application is for individuals seeking the opportunity to run and operate an Operation Charlie Bravo in their area in order to help provide a workshop for Veterans suffering from PTSD and/or TBI and/or depression. This workshop would need to include trained individuals skilled in various areas of Motorcycle fabrication, restoration, customization, and all sorts of DIY problem solving in any veteran crisis to help teach / mentor Veterans and direct them to the right resources. Once any project is completed by the Veteran, it is theirs to keep free of charge.

  • NOTE on what to expect...

    ONCE THE APPLICATION IS APPROVED THE INDIVIDUAL WANTING TO START THE EXPANSION MUST TRAVEL TO OUR SHOP IN CROWN POINT, INDIANA TO PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST ONE THURSDAY NIGHT LIMA CHARLIE GROUP THERAPY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FOR ADMIN TRAINING, AND A SUNDAY SHOP DAY IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE THE FULL ATMOSPHERE OF WHAT SERVICES WE PROVIDE AND HOW WE DO IT. YOUR OCB CHAPTER MUST START IN THE POTENTIAL CHAPTER PRESIDENTS GARAGEAND CANNOT BE LOCATED IN A BUSINESS. AFTER ONE SUCCEEFUL YEAR OF OPERATION YOU MAY MOVE INTO YOUR OWN FACILITY IF YOUR FUNDS GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO DO SO.

  • Your Leadership

    Your Chapter would need to appoint a President (garage owner).This individual would be responsible / in charge of operations and staffing the new Chapter. He or She must be an Honorable Discharge Veteran of the United States Military. The individual holding the position of President would report to the National Executive Director and Founder Jason Zaideman. If the Chapter President cannot maintain a Vice President, Secretary, and a Treasurer (minimum 4 members - no max) that are fulfilling their assigned volunteer duties, running the chapter, providing services to Veterans, sticking to the mission, then it is our duty to dissolve (close) your Affiliate Chapter revoking the use of our name. It is the Chapter Presidents duty to build a solid team and keep them mission focused and on task and accountable for completing tasks assigned. The President is looking for follow through from people that volunteer to help make your location the best resource possible for Veterans entering your programs. If someone on your team that volunteered to hold a position cannot accomplish their assigned duty, then it is your job as Chapter President to respectfully remove them and find someone that can help move your Chapter in the right direction. At least 3 out of the 4 of your executive team must be honorable discharge Veterans. You cannot do this alone. Teamwork Makes The Dream Work.

  • President Status must be honorable*

  • Are you willing to host at least a minimum of 2 fundraisers a year to raise funding to operate your location? No funding will be offered to your chapter from National unless we receive a blanket grant that helps with other chapters. You must be able to sustain on your own and gain the support of your local grant funding within your state and local agencies. We will always help you in these areas to find these resources.*
  • Can you operate every Thursday Night (7pm - 9pm) and all day every Sunday (9am - 5pm) (minus holidays and special events) opening your doors to all Veterans interested in participating in any OCB program offered?*
  • Can you maintain a stress free, fun, Veteran filled atmosphere with full separation of race, politics, religion or any other form of division or hate? We accept all veterans no matter any belief or opinion. DD-214 is the focus. We're also not a petting zoo for the public to come out and see Veterans in the wild.*
  • Can you make it out to our location in Crown Point, Indiana for at least one shop day (Sunday) At the very minimum the potential President and VP must make it out to Indiana for a four day learning experience?*
