Park Police Teen Academy Application

The Minneapolis Park Police will have its Teen Academy on January 2 and 3, 2019. This academy is designed for youth 13–19years of age, who have questions about law enforcement and may be considering a career in law enforcement. The academy will be from 10 am–3 pm each day. Lunch and snacks will be provided both days. We will be working with Recreation Centers to provide transportation for those who participate. Please indicate on the application if you will need transportation.

There will be Police demonstrations, field trips, and discussions. You will get an opportunity to learn about law enforcement and be exposed to other career opportunities in the field. There may be crime scene photos, videos, discussions, and scenarios that may be graphic in nature. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
