Technical Requirements
As well as uploading your audio here we require ALL performers to bring a USB back-up of their tracks in case there are any download issues on the day of performance. Backing Tracks will only be accepted on USB (we will not accept laptops, Ipads, Ipods etc) Please ensure that your backing tracks are cued in order in relation to your performance e.g: Track One, Track Two, Track Three. Alternatively these tracks can be WeTransferred to info@curtainsupshowcase.com. Please note each performer has a strict 10 mins time slot to fill, if you go beyond that your tracks will be stopped. If you are doing a medley or montage then please only upload one track in the first selected Track box option below.

Please list each piece of equipment you will be bringing. Please be aware that the change over time in between acts is a matter of minutes. There are several experienced stage hands on site that will help with this process.

How many microphones will you require for your performance?

Please upload any video footage or holding screen image that you wish to be played or displayed during your performance in either JPEG or MP4 format. We strongly advise that you take full advantage of the Video Screens located on stage behind where you are performing. If you do not have anything that you wish to display whilst you are on stage then the standard "Curtains Up" image will be displayed.

PERFORMANCE TIMES PLEASE REMEMBER YOU HAVE A 10 MINUTE PERFORMANCE SPOT. The performance time of 10 minutes must be adhered to and will be strictly monitored. We provide full stage crew and excellent PA and lighting systems as well as the use of professional screen displays for each act. It is not permitted to bring additional PA / sound or lighting equipment. All equipment must be PAT tested and certificated. Any equipment without a current PAT certificate may not be allowed to be used on stage. The Artiste/s accept all legal responsibility for all musical, visual and spoken content and is/are required to ascertain that all necessary legalities/licences are in place for their showcase performance.

Please note if you are not represented by an Agent or Booker, we will review and consider your application before confirming your place. By clicking submit, you are agreeing to pay a £250 remittance fee in accordance with the information above. This is NOT a contact form but is instead an APPLICATION. I (the Act) agree to pay by the methods stated to complete application - Curtains Up Management Team reserve the right to remove acts from the Showcase with a full refund. I (the act) agree if payment is NOT made, this will result in losing your performance spot at Curtains Up 2025. I (the act) am aware by completing this form it does NOT guarantee a place at the showcase, in which case a full refund will be given. I (the act) agree that if I do not appear or turn up on my given date and time, NO refund will be given.
