Newark Martial Arts Center is a Traditional Martial Arts school located in the Cannery Row Plaza in Newark, NY. We offer many programs for adults & kid's ages 3 and above. Our head instructor has over 30 years of experience in several styles of martial arts. Sifu Stu teaches Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Grappling, Self-Defense and Pressure Point System. Our goal is to enhance our youth teaching them life skills and giving them something more valuable they can use on a day to day basis. Newark Martial Arts has been the popular school parents choose to enroll their children in because we are family orientated, reasonably priced, well skilled and certified.

Our school offer's programs for kid's and adults. Our kid's karate starts from age 3 and above. We are open on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm and on Saturday's from 9:15 am - 2 pm.

 

Monday, Wednesday & Friday:

Kid's Karate ages 3 to 15 Class: 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Teens & Adults ages 16 & above Class: 6:30 pm - 8 pm

 

Saturday Classes:

Little Tiger's Kid's Karate ages 3 to 7 Class: 9:15 am - 10 am

Little Dragon's Kid's Karate ages 8 to 15 Class: 10 am - 11 am

Adult's Karate/kung Fu ages 16+ Class: 11 am - 12 pm

Adult Self-Defense Class: 12 pm - 2 pm

 

We offer programs to fit your needs. You can purchase different quantity blocks of classes and your classes never expire until your last class is used up.

Example: A parent purchases 26 karate lessons at $ amount and their child is out sick 3 days or famiy is out of town on vacation? There's no time limit to use your lessons up. Our computer data base keeps track of the lesson's you use and will keep both our instructor, staff and the parents/students up to date on how many lessons are used and not used. This means if you sign up for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and you miss lessons here and there, then your lessons may take longer to use.

Terms & Conditions of Training:

* Karate is for Self-Defence. If develops character patience, tolerance and humanity.

* Karate emphasis on Speed of movement and keenness of mind.

* Karate combines body with soul.

* If the applicant is a minor (i.e. below 18 years of age) the application form should be countersigned by the parent or guardian.

* The association or the instructor will not be responsible in any way for injury (physical or mental) received at or during the time of training of Karate or any other associated martial art nor is he responsible, when injuries are caused by its members of malpractised.

* The grading test will be held once in 4 to 6 months. According to performance of student. Student must come in white - Gl.
Monthly fee must deposit on the date of admission, without covering the classes of month you have missed.

* AGREEMENT : I will not use Karate for unlawful activities. I will not impart the training I receive without necessary permission from the Institution. I have carefully read the prospectus and I am agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Institutions. On my misbehavior/indiscipline my membership stands cancelled. I will learn Karate at my own risk. My guardians don't have any objection for Karate training. In case of injury or damage or loss, if any, I myself will solely be responsible for the same.
