Surge Warranty Claim Procedure
Your Surge Protection Device has been manufactured using the highest quality materials, and the latest technology available. When properly installed your device is designed to prevent transient surges from entering your home through your utility service, the most common point of entry. Your device incorporates advanced diagnostics that will monitor the internal surge protection components, ensuring your device is active and protecting you from surge transients entering from your utility lines.
Please note that transient voltages can originate from many sources including incoming cable, telephone, satellite, irrigation systems, external wiring, well pumps, security systems, surveillance cameras, audio cables, underground cable, control wiring, ground wires as well as electrically induced airborne transients from nearby electrical strikes.
Surge Device Lifetime Replacement
In the event your surge protection devices should ever FAIL due to defects in material, workmanship, or when presented with a catastrophic surge, indicated by one or more of the front panel indicator lights failing to illuminate. We will provide an equal or greater surge protection device at no charge to the original purchaser for the life of the surge protector installation.
Please note that defects in your electrical system or improper installation can cause similar symptoms to appear. Please consult a licensed electrical contractor to install, remove or troubleshoot your device when applicable.
To receive warranty replacement, complete the RMA request form below, You will receive a response within two business days providing you with an RMA number and the address to send the defective device with supporting documents.
Upon receipt, we will test your device within two business days. Any surge protector found to have failed will be replaced with an equal or greater model. Devices received that test to original manufacturing specifications will be returned to you with a copy of the test results and troubleshooting checklist.
We will send all in-warranty replacements at no charge. The end user is responsible for any expense in removing and reinstalling the device as well as shipping defective devices to our facility for warranty replacement.
Surge Protection Connected Equipment Warranty
We will provide repair or replacement (at our option), for any electrically connected equipment that is damaged as a result of a transient surge event originating from the utility lines, that causes the surge protector to FAIL, resulting in electrical damage to connected appliances and or electronics per the terms, conditions and limitations defined on the original warranty card provided with your surge protection device.
Requesting Connected Equipment Coverage
Should you suspect that you may have damaged appliances or electronic equipment as a result of a FAILED surge Protector (One or more LED's extinguished), please check the " Connected Equipment Warranty Claim " box at the bottom of the form when submitting your surge protector for replacement. We will contact you to assist with filing your connected equipment claim form upon confirmation of a FAILED surge protector.
To assist in speedy processing of a connected equipment claim, please retain any defective parts, documentation, and damaged items you suspect to have been damaged by an electrical surge resulting from a FAILED surge device (One or more LED's extinguished) until the claim process is complete. Please note that we are unable to process any connected equipment warranty claims prior to receiving the failed surge protector.
