Materials Policy
Since you will have specific preferences on material type and quality it will be up to you as the instructor to obtain materials for your class. Please keep all receipts for you materials to turn into us. You have two options to ensure you are repaid for the cost of materials:
A. Include the costs in your class fee:
This option is clearer for students and often sells better than classes with a seperate cost. It is also less administrative work for on the day of the class, because students often want to pay with check or credit card when they arrive. If you choose this option you will be paid the materials fee when your are paid for the class: net 15 days after we receive your attendance form (page 1 and 2 above).
B. Request a separate materials fee to be paid the day of class:
This option allows you to recoup your materials fee on the day of the class by asking students to bring a check or cash for the cost of materials. This can occasionally be an extra barrier to potential students who would rather pay for everything at once, or for people wanting to buy classes as a gift.
Instructor Note: Because classes occasionally do not meet the minimum student requirement, we advise instructors NOT to purchase materials until the minimum has been met. As an instructor it will be your responsibility to check the class roster frequently prior to your class date to verify. You may check here: https://goo.gl/Saa5CY
