PURPOSE OF THE MISSISSAUGA POLISH DAY
Mississauga Polish Day is a not-for-profit public event. We strive to provide Polish Canadian performers with a state-of-the-art venue and the opportunity to showcase their talent to all residents of the City of Mississauga, Peel Region and beyond. Artists/performers will join all of the other volunteers who are contributing their time, skills and talents to serve our community and make our festival a successful event. While performers will not be compensated by our festival, modest honorariums will be provided to express our appreciation for their participation.
Celebration Square is located in the heart of Mississauga, adjacent to Mississauga City Hall and next door to Square One Shopping Mall. Celebration Square is an outdoor public square and state-of-the-art multi-medium event venue complete with a permanent main stage, amphitheatre and water fountain. Celebration Square has a 30,000 crowd capacity.
