2020 Application for Snelling 2.0

Snelling 2.0 is the next leg of the Snelling journey for graduates of the Vermont School Leadership Program and sponsored by The Snelling Center for Government. The program was started based on the expressed need by the alumni of the “Snelling” program to continue their work together using the format and skills learned in the first leg of their Snelling journey. The goal of this program is to provide support to alumni as they work to impact and lead Vermont’s community schools and school systems. The Snelling Center invites individuals who are alumni of the Vermont School Leadership Program to apply. Associates will be selected on the basis of their commitment to the work and continued interest in their growth as leaders.

Snelling 2.0 requires participants to dedicate 6 days. It is imperative that you attend each and every session in order to ensure that you and your colleagues meet the requirements of the program. What do you see as your key challenges in dedicating the time, energy, and attention needed to participate fully in this program, and how do you intend to address these challenges?*

Snelling 2.0 will meet for a total of 6 days: August 9 & 10, 2019 (2 days; one is a Saturday); January 23 & 24, 2020 (2 days); and August 3 & 4, 2020 (2 days). Program days typically run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Associates are expected to participate fully and should have the support and commitment of their employers.

Tuition is $2500 for double occupancy and $2650 for single occupany. Tuition is nonrefundable and due by July 1, 2019. A $300 deposit is due by April 1, 2019.
