Tour Information
Requirements
- Programs are available for 3rd grade through adult participants only.
- All tour participants are required to wear long pants (that cover your ankles) and closed toed/heeled athletic style shoes (that cover the top of your foot).
- Please consider carpooling if several families are joining the tour.
Tour Locations
- Solid Waste Transfer Station- 6310 Burnt Poplar Road
  - Park in the spaces near the small scale house and wait in your vehicles
- White Street Landfill- 2503 White Street
  - Meet at the 2nd building on the left in the parking lot unless you are following us
- Republic Services: Greensboro’s Recycling Center- 706 Patton Avenue
  - Park in any open parking spaces, area is a thoroughfare for large trucks.
  - Don’t congregate in the parking lot
  - PHOTOS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS LOCATION
