For and in consideration of being permitted to participate in an Asia’s Hope visit to meet with Asia’s Hope and its staff, employees, directors, board members, officers, representatives, children, property and/or assets (“Asia’s Hope”) on or about the proposed travel dates listed below, (the “Visit”). I, the undersigned Participant, hereby execute and deliver this waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement (“Agreement”) to Asia’s Hope.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my family, my estate, and each of such person’s heirs, executors, administrators, successors, affiliates, and assigns (together with myself, the “Releasing Parties”) fully, unconditionally, and without reserve, release and forever discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and expenses, obligations, liabilities, deficiencies, or damages of every kind and nature whatsoever to self and/or property, known or unknown, now existing or that may arise in the future, which arise out of or are attributable to or in any way based upon or related to my taking part in the Visit.
• I understand and acknowledge that the claims being released hereunder include, without limitation, claims, if any, based upon or in anyway related to the negligence of Asia’s Hope, and/or any or all of the Released Parties.
• The Releasing Parties agree, jointly and severally, to indemnify and hold harmless Asia’s Hope from and against any and all costs, liabilities, expenses, including but no limited to attorneys’ fees and expenses, damages, claims, losses, and actions arising out of any matter released or purported to be released by the Releasing Parties herein, whether or
  not such costs, liabilities, expenses, damages, claims, losses, or actions arise out of the sole or contributory negligence of any of Released Parties. I understand, without limiting the foregoing, that this means that I will make sure Asia’s Hope never have any loss as a result of their activities, even if negligent.
• I recognize that there are risks involved in participating in the Visit and hereby assume any and all risk of injury, harm, damage, or death in connection with my participation in it.
• I understand and agree that Asia’s Hope may not be held liable in any way for any and all injury, harm, damage, or death that may occur to me or my property as a result of my participation in the Visit and hereby release Asia’s Hope from any injury, harm, damage or death which may occur to me or my property while I am participating in the Visit.
• I authorize Asia’s Hope to render or obtain such emergency medical care or treatment for me as may be necessary should any injury, harm or accident occur to me while participating in the Visit.
• I understand and acknowledge that Asia’s Hope does not provide health or medical insurance in connection with the mission visit and I agree that I will be financially responsible for any bills incurred as a result of medical treatment, including emergency medical treatment and/or transportation to a medical facility, in connection with my participation in the visit.
• I acknowledge that if minors are accompanying me, the liability waiver mentioned above extends to them as well. I will provide their names to Asia's Hope and understand that by signing below I will also be signing on their behalf and that I have the legal authority to do so.
• I have read, understand and agree to abide by the Asia’s Hope Child Protection Policy, and qualify to visit under the policy’s General Principles.

I, the undersigned, affirm that I have read, understood and agree to abide by the child protection policy.

I understand that Asia’s Hope reserves without limitation the right to refuse or mediate contact with their children. Asia’s Hope may bar individuals from contact with their children based on the individual’s previous conduct with Asia’s Hope kids and staff, on the individual’s disclosed or alleged life history, or on subjective factors.

I understand that individuals with a proven or probable history of inflicting sexual, physical or mental abuse on another person, domestic violence, stalking, sexual harassment or illegal sexual contact with a child or adult are by Asia’s Hope’s definition ineligible to participate in any activity wherein the individual might have contact or communication with one of their children, even if that history predates a conversion experience. I agree to hold Asia’s Hope harmless in all efforts to enforce these policies.

I agree to not attempt to visit or contact any Asia’s Hope child outside of a relationship mediated with a partnering organization without receiving direct permission from Asia’s Hope International.
