Thank you for your interest in interning at the American Eagle Foundation! Internship applications are open to those who are currently enrolled in an educational program (high school or college).
Applications for the 2019 Summer Internship Program will be accepted between January 1st and February 1st, 2019. The "submit" button on this application will become active on January 1st. We encourage you to compose your answers in a separate document, compile you resume, and draft your cover letter prior to the submission start date.
TWO Wildlife Program Intern positions:
You will actively work with our non-releasable birds, feed our Eagles on Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, perform in our educational Wings of America birds-of-prey show, assist with local educational birds of prey programs, and get first hand experience banding/tagging/caring for our captive-hatched eaglets that are released into the wild from our hack tower on Douglas Lake each summer.
Once your application is received by our staff committee we may contact you to set up an interview. Final decisions will be made by mid-march.
