Rachel Zingone is not a physician or a psychotherapist. She is an herbalist and a certified hypnotist. She does not provide medical diagnosis; and despite research to the contrary, makes no health benefit claims for her services and cannot guarantee specific results.
Both hypnotism and herbalism are self-regulated professions that are not licensed by state governments.
Hypnotism is safe and non-invasive. It provides intuitive insights during deep relaxation. You remain completely aware and under your own control while in hypnosis, and may emerge out of hypnosis at any point if desired.
These services are a form of motivational coaching and education. Hypnosis is not meant to be a substitute for psychological or professional counseling. Rachel uses hypnosis to help you get in touch with your deeper self and motivate you to eliminate negative or unwanted habits and fears, improve memory and concentration, develop self-confidence, reduce/manage stress, improve health and well-being, and focus on positive thoughts and desired outcomes. In general, she helps people cope with the normal problems of everyday living by utilizing various techniques of hypnosis and progressive relaxation.
Hypnosis reduces stress, which is a beneficial adjunct for promoting physical and mental wellbeing. Relaxation techniques can be learned which can reduce discomfort and improve certain health issues. This practice believe that thoughts and attitudes can influence how we feel and that hypnosis can help you change habitual behaviors, focus on the positive, and visualize a state of wellness.
Hypnosis is usually short term. Rachel recommends starting with an expectation of 4-6 sessions. Some clients achieve their goals in only a few sessions; others may require more. Rachel cannot guarantee specific results.
Good health is your own personal responsibility: the final decision in any recommendation –whether to follow it or not – is always yours. If at any time for any reason you are dissatisfied with her services, please let her know. You have the right to discuss and/or refuse any techniques or suggestions that you believe may be inappropriate for you.
