2020 North Country Fair has been postponed until 2021
Awareness Workshops Application Form
The North Country Fair seeks practitioners, instructors and workshop facilitators who wish to share their expertise at the 2020 Fair being held June 19-21. Application deadline is April 15 2020. All applicants will be considered and contacted by May 15, 2020.
NCF Awareness is looking for inspired and knowledgeable instructors to facilitate workshops throughout the weekend. Workshops will be scheduled between 4pm - 8pm on Friday evening, 9am- 8pm Saturday and 9am - 4pm on Sunday. Workshops may be scheduled outside these times if appropriate.
Examples of workshops would be Alternative House Construction, Alternative Energy Production, Cultural Awareness, Arts Workshops, Healing Arts, Sustainable Living Practices and Nature Based Activities, Art, live art, yoga and other movement activities, aboriginal awareness activities.
Practitioners that wish to share their expertise through demonstrations are encouraged to apply. If you have a proposal for a workshop that is not included on this list, don't be shy! Please let us know about your area of expertise with an outline of what we can expect from your workshop. Some past workshop topics have touched on The Alternative Economy, Outdoor Survival and Traditional Skills, Tarot, Hula Hooping, and lots more.
We ask that your workshop be between 1- 1.5 hours in length, and you will be required to facilitate your workshop twice over the weekend. In addition to your workshop, please be available to volunteer in the Awareness tent for 3-4 hours over the weekend. (optional)
If you intend to charge for goods or services, please apply to be a vendor. Consider either Artisans' Alley or Wellness
Workshop Facilitators will receive a weekend pass to the Fair.
Note: This is a camp/country setting. There may be no power available.
