Pastry Cook Job Description
Assist pastry team in the preparation of breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes,
doughnuts and other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to
established recipes. Shape doughs for cookies, pies and pastries either by hand or
by using dough rollers and cookie cutters.
Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils and equipment. Detects and ensures
disposal of spoiled or unattractive food. Performs miscellaneous job related
duties as assigned.
General responsibilities: Greets customers and takes food orders and then serve.
Must be able to accommodate special dietary requests. Remain attentive to the
customers throughout the entire dining experience. Candidates must exceed
service standards as established by the restaurant at all times. Other duties
include stocking, menu comprehension, dining room cleaning and mastery of the
squirrel system. Performs all other tasks as assigned.
