Expression of Interest for
Trajectory Ensemble 2019
Trajectory Ensemble is an annual program of professional development for emerging artists interested in collaborative, process-driven performance making. Each year, the project is facilitated by a professional artist to create and present a daring new performance work, while supporting participants to develop their own sustainable practice.
This year, the Ensemble will collaborate with award-winning Melbourne-based theatre maker David Williams.
Tantrum is seeking a team of emerging artists to form Trajectory Ensemble 2019. We’re looking for emerging artists (18-26yrs, or in the first 5 years of their professional practice) who are creative, motivated, keen to extend themselves, experiment, collaborate and work with amazing industry professionals to develop a new performance work. Creative people from all backgrounds and disciplines are welcome to apply: performers, designers, musicians, visual artists, writers, dancers – you name it, we want you!
How do I join?
1. Complete the following EOI form by Wednesday 13 February 2019.
2. Attend the Taster Workshop with facilitator David Williams on Saturday 16 February 2019 from 3-5pm at Tantrum Studio, 101 City Road, Merewether (entry via Allworth Street).
3. Following the Taster Workshop, Tantrum will offer up to 10 emerging artists a place in the 2019 Ensemble.
