  • GPHS Band Booster Senior Scholarship Application (2024-2025)

    GPHS Band Boosters will be awarding three (3) $500.00 scholarships this year to graduating seniors. (Note: the number of scholarships may be reduced to two (2) for $750.00 scholarships if less than five applications are submitted.) The intent of the award is to recognize those students who have been active in the GPHS band program and who have represented the GPHS music program in outside activities.

  • All GPHS seniors currently enrolled in the instrumental music program are encouraged to apply. We have kept the paperwork to a minimum; however, the following conditions must be met to be eligible for the scholarship:

    • Must be a senior at GPHS this year, planning to attend a college, a university or a vocational program Fall term of 2025.
    • Must be enrolled in a Band class senior year.
    • Must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.75 (will be verified)
    • Must have lettered in band at least once during high school
      (Planned future areas of study are not part of the criteria. The scholarship committee will only recognize the positive contributions made to the GPHS band program during your years at GPHS. The committee also recognizes the fact that restrictions in place affected this years' band activities)


    ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE BY

    2:00PM, FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2025.


    NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED!


    All applications will be numbered (names removed) and judged by an independent team of evaluators. Band booster board members (officers) will not be involved in the selection process.


    All scholarship awards must be claimed by June 30, 2025, or it will be forfeited and monies will be returned to the band booster general account. Award checks will be made out to and sent directly to the institution indicated in the award acceptance letter.
