THIRD SUNDAY LUNCH: Help prepare and serve the monthly lunch for students. (Happens on Sundays right after church.)
STUDENT HOSTING: All students long for a home-cooked meal or a home away from home.
MENTORS: Some of life's biggest decisions take place during the college years. Students need older, more mature mentors to walk through life with.
EVENTS: Help plan and execute events for college students.
COMMUNITY GROUP LEADERS: Adult volunteers needed to lead weekly groups of college students.
Student Ministry
Student Ministry Opportunities
TEACHER: Teach curriculum-based lessons on Sunday mornings to one of our four classes. Option to lead a class for the entire year or teach a standalone series.
GREETER: Welcome and assimilate students on a Sunday morning for 20-30 minutes as they enter the Chapel for opening assembly.
STATION LEADER: Provide leadership and oversight for the various "stations" students get to choose from on a Sunday night.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SMALL GROUP LEADER: Plan and lead weekly small-group discussions, activities, etc.
HOST HOME: Provide a place for our 9th-12th grade small groups to meet on Wednesday nights.
Shepherd's Kids
Shepherd's Kids Opportunities
LEAD TEACHER: Lead a classroom and teach children how to know God, think biblically and live wisely.
TEACHER ASSISTANT: Assist in one of our classrooms.
MINISTRY AMBASSADOR: Set a welcoming tone for families, children and guests as you staff one of our welcome desks.
AWANA VOLUNTEER: Engage and encourage children as they learn to memorize and apply God's Word.
NURSERY WORKER: Provide loving care for babies while providing a safe and nurturing environment.
NURSERY LEADER: Skilled individuals who love babies/toddlers and are committed to serve the littlest ones each week. Nursery leaders greet parents and ensure children are checked in, fed, changed and content in a safe and nurturing environment. Age range of children: birth-2 years old.
NURSERY ASSISTANT: Helps the nursery leader with keeping children engaged and content, as well as assisting with other tasks as necessary, such as: cleaning up toys, serving snacks and water, warming bottles, etc. Age range of children: birth-2 years old.
PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER: Preschool teachers are responsible for a small Bible lesson each week. Curriculum materials are provided along with any crafts and coloring sheets that accompany the lesson. They also oversee the check in process, greeting parents at the door and ensuring rosters are completed. Age range of children: 2-4 years old.
PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT: Helps lead teacher with whatever tasks are necessary: sitting with the children during the lesson, helping to serve snacks and water, monitoring playground and playtime in the classroom, etc. Age range of children: 2-4 years old.
SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR: Assist with planning and execution of special events such as Vacation Bible School, camps and parties.
SHEPHERD'S GIRLS: Mentor girls in this relational discipleship ministry that seeks to develop servant leaders and embraces the outdoors.
TRAIL LIFE: Guide boys as they experience the outdoors and grow in faith through relational discipleship.
Guest Services
Guest Services Opportunities
PARKING LOT: Serve as the first point of contact for guests and members. Ensure that our parking lots are safe and efficient.
WELCOME DESKS: Provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests; assist guests by providing information and escorting them throughout the campus.
GREENHOUSE HOSTS: We need people who have already gone through this process to reach out to those presently in the class .Helping set up attendance sheets on tables and coordinate clean-up of classroom at the end of the night.
WORSHIP CENTER TEAM: Make our guests and members feel welcome, distribute handouts and help seat people.
BE OUR GUEST HOST: Share with guests about Shepherd's history, who we are now and what we offer. Provide a tour of the campus and make guests feel at home.
Music
Music Opportunities
ADULT CHOIR: Can you carry a tune? Join the adult choir as we strive to make His praise glorious each week. Rehearsals are Wednesday at 6:30PM in the Choir room.
ORCHESTRA: Our orchestra requires advanced skills to handle challenging music. Let us know if you are interested in an audition.
CHILDREN'S CHOIRS: Help with our graded children's choirs (K4-Grade 5), which meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm.
HANDBELLS: Our handbell choir is always accepting new members.
DEAF MINISTRY INTERPRETERS: Use sign language to help with interpreting our Worship Services for the deaf.
Mobilization / Sports

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE: Provide childcare or assist with classroom activities for our ESL ministry.
MOBILIZATION PRAYER FOUNDATION: Gather to pray for our Global Staff and Global Partners.
MOBILIZATION IMPACT EVENTS: Help with churchwide events to motivate and mobilize our members/attendees to impact their world for Christ.
CARPENTERS FOR CHRIST: Use your skills to build, renovate, and give aid to various ministries and churches.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OUTREACH: Establish relationships with local university students through fellowship and events.
SPORTS COACH / ASSISTANT COACH: Provide coaching and instruction in soccer, flag football, basketball, t-ball or machine pitch baseball.
Communications
Communications Opportunities
PHOTOGRAPHER: Experience required, whether you're an amateur or a pro! You must be comfortable taking photos in a variety of settings. Some evenings and weekends are required, as is meeting our deadlines.
WRITER: Writing experience required, preferably journalism or interview-style writing. You must be capable of conveying the "Shepherd's Church" voice and be able to commit to assignments that have deadlines.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER: Graphic Design experience required using Adobe Creative Suite. You must be able to commit to deadlines.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTRIBUTOR: You must be a good communicator who enjoys using social media channels regularly, and you must be able to commit to deadlines.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE HELPER: You must be detail oriented, enjoy a variety of tasks, be able to collaborate, have a flexible schedule and be able to commit to deadlines.
CHALK ARTIST: Help with the various designs and drawings used on our two life-size chalkboards.

FREEZER MINISTRY: Provide freezer meals to families who are in need.
HOMEBOUND VISITATION: Visit shut-ins who have requested a visit.
AARON & HUR PRAYER PARTNER: Participate on Sunday mornings with a team in prayer for Pastor Davey and all of our teachers as they uplift God's Word.
CALL TO PRAYER WARRIORS: Individuals who desire to encourage, support, and pray for those within the flock who submit daily prayer requests through the Call to Prayer.

LEAD AND ASSISTANT SOUND ENGINEER: Program and operate the sound console and serve as a sound engineer.
STAGE MANAGER: Assist with stage setup, prepare stage sound equipment and oversee sound checks.
AUDIO STREAMING ENGINEER: Program and operate the console that provides our online audio stream.
LIGHTING TECHNICIAN: Program and operate the lighting console.
PROJECTIONIST: Operate the software that projects the videos, slides and song lyrics to the screens.
