IMPORTANT Registration Information
Registration preference is given to active* church participants, who are currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade and adult volunteers, from February 24 through April 14, 2019. Registrations for others will be received and placed on a waiting list on a first come, first served basis. They will be contacted at the conclusion of the registration period if there is space available. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after May 23, 2019. Approval of registrations received after April 24, 2019 will factor in cabin assignment space and counselor availability.
*Active is defined as regular worship attendance and participation throughout the year in our various Children’s and Youth Ministries programs including Sunday School, Worship Service, Choir, Wednesday night programs, Youth events and other special activities.
Adult counselors from PVUMC staff the camp and serve as cooks, craft leaders, lifeguards, cabin counselors, recreation leaders, music leaders, spiritual leaders and mentors.
Our camp is a total program, complete with morning devotions, meals, Bible study, crafts, recreation, evening vespers, nightly specials and much more. All phases of the camp are planned in great detail and with much thought and prayer. Each day builds upon the previous day’s activities. In order for your child to fully understand and benefit from the message of the week, we require that the child be in attendance for the entire week.
Cost for the week is $110 per camper and $40 per adult counselor. You may also be asked to bring an item or two for your child’s craft activities. Additional donations are very much appreciated as materials, supplies, and food all adds up quickly. We do also receive and honor scholarship requests; contact Charles George if you need to discuss a scholarship request or if you would like to donate additionally to assist in scholarship requests.
Every camper will be required to attend the mandatory camp meeting Wednesday May 15th in the Fellowship Hall at 7 pm. A parent/guardian must attend with the camper. Medical Information will be collected at this meeting, so please bring insurance cards. This meeting and payment of the camp fees by this meeting date are required to complete your camp registration.
