2019 Auction Adult Volunteer Form

EVENT SITE SET UP (15+ Needed)
We’ll need lots of volunteers to help set up at the Expo site the Friday before the auction (April 12th from 9am - 7pm - various shifts). We need decorators, balloon pick-up, food runners, chair and table set up... It's lots of fun!
GREETING MANAGERS (4+ Needed)
Happy, friendly faces wanted to oversee high school students greeters who will greet guests as they enter our event and help them fill out bidder registration forms. You will help maintain a good flow and trouble shoot minor issues. Managers will help ensure no one under the age of 18 enters our event, due to liability concerns. We will have several shifts scheduled so that no one misses out on the night of fun.
REGISTRATION (8+ Needed)
Serve on the front line and register guests on our computer database, which we will train you to use the day before the event or just prior to the event start.. Ensure bidder registration forms are completed and give each bidder a copy of the auction catalog and bidder number. We will have several shifts scheduled.
FOOD MANAGERS (4+ Needed)
Managers will oversee high school volunteers as they assist in serving dinner, drinks and dessert. We will have several shifts scheduled.
DESSERT (10 Needed)
Volunteers will bake two 9x11 foil pans of brownies for the event.
SILENT AUCTION RETRIEVAL (6+ Needed)
After the silent auction ends, we need volunteers who help file bid sheets and help in the item retrieval area.
CHECK OUT (6+ Needed)
Volunteers will assist guests with the check-out and payment process on the night of the auction. You will use our computer database, which we will train you to use the day before the event or just prior to the event start. We will have several shifts scheduled.
CLEAN UP/TAKE DOWN (6+ Needed)
This one is easy primarily because our high school students assist lots. After the auction ends at 8PM, help put away decor, pack items to return to the school, sweep, etc.
