2019 SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION

Margaret V. Diggs Performing Arts Scholarship
- Program Focus: Performing arts: acting/drama, debate/public speaking, vocal music, instrumental music, dance, comedy.
- Funding may include
  - Direct costs: tuition, fees for professional lessons and classes, instruments
  - Indirect costs: supplies, uniforms, transportation
*Funds will be provided directly to approved performing arts programs on behalf of specific students recommended by those programs.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 8-18 years at time of application
- Residency: Arizona
- Financial need: determined by program
- Participation in approved performing arts program
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Online Application form
- Attachments
  - Essay stating reasons for interest in arts program, accomplishments and future aspirations
  - Letter of recommendation from current or recent teacher, school, administrator or counselor
  - Transcript or report cards for the most recent school year
- Applications must be submitted on or before Friday, May 31st @ 11:59PM
