Sometimes circumstances in our lives change that impact the dynamics of the family (moving, marriage, babies, divorce, returning to school, etc.) How you will manage changes like these in terms of your commitment to your pet?

A rescued animal will have a period of adjustment when entering into your home. This period may be a few days to a few weeks and could result in temporary behavioral changes.

Do you understand that you will be sharing your life with a dog for 14 - 18 years, who is totally dependent upon you for food, exercise, shelter, health and veterinary care? Are you willing and able to make this life-long commitment to a dog as a family member?

Pawsitive Match charges an adoption fee and these fees help to cover expenses incurred by the rescue. All dogs adopted through Pawsitive Match are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. If they are too young to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, the adopter will make sure that this surgery is performed, and adoption fee will reflect this.
