Eligibility Requirements for High School Students
1. Applicants, at the time of application, must be a High School Senior and in his or her final semester.
2. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited high school program within Dallas/ Collin/ Rockwall/ Ellis/ Kaufman Counties.
3. Applicants must have applied to or must have already been accepted at Texas Southern University.
4. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7/4.0
Eligibility Requirements for College Students
1. Current Texas Southern University student.
2. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7/4.0
3. Verification of Enrollment Form completed and signed by the Office of Enrollment.
Applications Must Include the Following
1. Completed application. All information must be typed. No handwritten applications will be accepted.
2. Two letters of reference. References should be educators, employers or a non-relative who can provide an evaluation of the applicant’s professional and academic performance. Letters should include the reference’s signature, job title and contact number.
3. Official transcript from current educational institution. Applications will not be considered without all applicable transcripts.
4. One professional photo, preferably a recent headshot or graduation picture.
5. One page biography in past tense format.
Submitting Your Application
1. An application must be submitted in its entirety. Incomplete or late application packets will not be accepted. The application must be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
2. All applicants will be notified of their status by telephone, email, or mail.
3. On the recipients’ behalf, the TSUNAA Dallas Chapter Treasurer will make a check payable to TSU for your 2022-2023 registration fees.
