Places we know & love are celebrated in this exhibit, “On the MAP” El Paso & Beyond.
Artists are asked to submit artwork with the following themes but not limited to: El Paso & surrounding region, destinations, culture,
travel, music, food, people. Use your imagination to explore your own backyard or places around the GLOBE.
EPAA Members: $25.00 for 1-3 pieces.
Non-Members: $40.00 for 1 - 3 pieces.

HOW TO ENTER EXHIBIT:

Checks and money orders can be made out to the EPAA.
Entry fees for On the Map are non-refundable.
All mediums and styles accepted in 2D or 3D. Art deemed vulgar or not meeting exhibition criteria will be rejected by the EPAA. Entries must be original and have been completed within the last 3 years and never have won a top award in an EPAA exhibit.
All artwork must be for sale. The Crossland Gallery will collect and pay state sales tax and retain a 30% commission on any artwork sold.
NOTE: This is NOT a juried exhibit. You will NOT be notified to be included. Proceed to drop-off art on dates listed above.
Entry fees for accepted work are non-refundable.
MEDIA AND EXECUTION
Entry size requirements INCLUDING frame or gallery wrap:
Minimum 11” by 14” (or no less than 154 sq. inches)
Maximum 48 width” by 60 height” only (including frame)
DO NOT BRING IN ARTWORK THAT DOES NOT MEET THESE REQUIRED SIZES!!!
Entries will be accepted in the following media categories:
Oil, alkyd, enamel, encaustic, water media including:watercolor, gouache or acrylic.
All mediums including: pastel, egg tempera, scratchboard, charcoal, pen & ink, vinyl, epoxy paint, pencil and any mixed media combination & collage.
Printmaking/prints must be hand pulled by the artist.
No photographic reproductions of original work.
Sculpture – most sizes accepted call for details.
Fiber art 2D or 3D, artwork must be stable and ready to hang on wall or placed on pedestal.
No saw tooth hangers or wet paintings.
FRAMES must be substantial and include mechanics for hanging, dust and finger print free. Gallery wrapped canvas are accepted.
ART MUST HAVE CORRECT HARDWARE ON THE BACK! D-RINGS ARE PREFERRED! (Screw eyes are NOT recommended)
PICTURE WIRE is recommended. (rope or hard wire is NOT recommended)
NOTE: If you do not know how to properly wire your artwork, please watch various Youtube videos to learn how to properly wire your artwork!!
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! YOUR ARTWORK DESERVES IT!!

Entries may include an artist’s Bio or information sheet.
To be eligible for publicity, please submit images, entry NO LATER THAN MARCH 15, 2019 to email@example.com or
on-line entry form. Entering online does not guarantee your images will be used in publicity, as that is dependent upon the number of images received, digital quality and media limitations.
